Thank you to Mike Leavens, we now have the details of Michael's funeral arrangements..

Michael will be Cremated on Thursday the 23rd of December in Southend on Sea. The funeral procession will be leaving his sister Sally's shop at11.30 am and will be travelling to the chapel at the crematorium in Sutton road Southend on Sea for a 12 o'clock service. Michael lived a flamboyant life and Sally intends to send him off in the manner he lived, his journey will be by horse drawn carriage, anyone from the pool world that played such a big part of his life is invited to attend. Sally is not sure how many the church will hold so obviously relatives and close friends will take priority. When Michael died he had no insurance and left little money behind him, most of us who knew him remember he found it hard to pass a barcrest machine, so to help with the funeral costs a collection will be made, any one who wishes to contribute can do so on the day or if you are unable to attend then a contribution can be sent to:- Sally Tyrie Sally's Curiosity Shop 627 London Road, Westcliffe on Sea. Essex. I know Sally and Olive (Michael's wife now 82) will be grateful for any contribution however small.
