Christophe Lambert has beaten Scott Ross, the European Professional Champion, 10-5 in a superb final in the dna-insurance.com Professional Masters played to a packed arena in Jersey this weekend..

The French international, who has made no less than four finals this week at the Jersey Festival of Pool took out the seasoned John O'Donnell in the first round, followed by Craig Parker in the last 16. A quick win over Alan Reynolds was followed by a 9-3 win over the 2000 Professional European Runner Up, John Chambers, in the semi finals for his place in the final.

Scott Ross marches into the top 16 in the rankings at provisional 13 - a terrific performance from a first year professional. Meanwhile, Rob Hill remains the provisional number one, followed closely by Professional Number One, Andy Lucas.
