Rumours are circulating through other websites regarding players banned by the Professional Pool Players Association. In response, Tony Batch, chairman of the PPPO has issued the following statement.

"Matters relating to one of our members failing a drug test have been related to us in the last 24 hours. As far as the PPPO are concerned, there are no banned players and any player on the current list or any players wishing to play on the next season will be welcome.

"The first event is 15th October in Cornwall."

"As far as the PPPO are concerned, the PPPO's own committee has it's own processes and will make its own policy decisions."

"The PPPO in no way endorse the use of any banned substances."
